We will sadly be moving out of this amazing apartment as we are returning back to our home country at the end of September 2018. Flat available from 1 October 2018, but could be open to moving out by 16 September 2018. This apartment is a new build / renovation that was completed in late 2017. A heritage-listed building, the apartment boasts a split-level design, sweeping high ceilings, a leafy outlook through large 2-metre high length-wide windows in both the living room and main bedroom. Net living area is close to 90m2 and the apartment can be entered on both levels. Note: the concept photo of the living area shows the structural pillar in the living room, however in our apartment it is in the bedroom. Upstairs holds the open-plan kitchen and dining area, and living room. There is also a second bathroom / guest powder room, with a lot of space. Integrated fridge, oven and dishwasher are included. What really catches the eye are the 2.5m high windows that let in an amazing amount of light. Mechanical retractable sunshades have definitely helped with Zurich’s recent heatwave! Downstairs are the sleeping areas – a main bedroom with a walk-in cavity that comfortably fits two wardrobes, main bathroom which comes with the unit’s own washer and dryer, and an internal cellar. We have actually used this internal cellar as a second bedroom – it’s a great size, comfortably fitting a double bed and large wardrobe with space to spare. The area is incredibly vibrant and close to many shops, parts, restaurants and public transport. Door-to-door times to a few locations: • Migros – 3 min walk • Coop – 5 min walk • Aldi – 7 min (walk and tram) or 10 min walk • Albisriederplatz – 4 min walk for tram (2 & 3) and bus (72, 33 and 83) connections across Zurich • Hardbrücke – 11 min (walk to Albisriederplatz and 5 minute bus ride on any bus) • Lochergut – 9 min (walk and tram, either 2 or 3) for a great range of restaurants and bars (Grand Café Lochergut, Lily’s, Miki Ramen, ONA POKÉ, Gelateria di Berna, Raygrodski) • Holmes Place Gym / Fitness centre (in Crowne Plaza) – 1 minute walk (Across the road!) • Stadion Letzigrund – 4 min walk Looking for someone to take over my current lease as well as keep some of the furniture (e.g. dining table and 4x chairs, 3 x wardrobes (2 in main bedroom walk-in cavity, and 1 in spare room), main bathroom cupboard, bedroom curtains, etc.). Also could accommodate someone willing to start the lease mid-month (i.e. 16 September 2018). Please email if interested to set a date and time up to inspect.
