We have a room available in our large single house, where you would be joining four fun people (27-31 years old) in our five-person house. The house is huge (300 m2) with a large garden (850 m2), so there is always room to relax and spend time alone or to socialize with us, as you wish. We're from different countries, so it's important to us that you feel comfortable communicating in English (although three of us speak German). We'd love to have you join us, whether you're a meat-eater or not!
The house has a lot to offer:
1. The garden with beautiful spring flowers and a soft lawn that is perfect for outdoor yoga, barbecues, or even badminton! The gardener takes care of all the plants, so you do not have to worry about a thing.
2. The garage with a separate room for bikes and a space for your car.
3. The patio with a stone floor is the perfect spot for relaxing with a sofa, table, and BBQ.
4. The spacious basement (100 m²) is perfect for all your storage and home gym needs and has a washing room with a dishwasher and dryer, as well as drying racks.
5. The spacious, fully equipped open space kitchen (20 m2) with a dishwasher, electric stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, electric kettle, double sink, and plenty of storage cabinets. There is sufficient room for three people to cook simultaneously. The floor is tiled and heated. There are three fridges, so you would have plenty of space for your food.
6. The spacious dining room can accommodate up to 14 people at a table (great for hosting large groups of friends). The floor is wooden.
7. The cozy living room with many plants. It is a perfect place to relax. The floor is wooden.
8. There is one small bathroom (shower & toilet) downstairs and one big bathroom (shower, bathtub & toilet) upstairs.
The house location:
- green and quiet, surrounded by forested hills,
- 5 min (walk) away from the river Aare, nice place for swimming in the summer and morsing in the winter,
- 7 min (walk) from the central railway/bus station, and all the major stores in the town (big Migros, Coop, Lidl, Turkish grocery market,
- 5 min (walk) away from the old town,
- 2 min (walk) away from the public garden with cute chickens and rabbits.
The room (10 m2):
- unfurnished,
- is located on the first floor,
- has a wooden floor and a window on the east side.
