Rent a room in a shared flat in Bern

Hello!

I am renting out my sunny and furnished room (bed, desk, built in wardrobe, and small sofa in room) in a spacious apartment in Breitenrein from 6th of March till 6th of May 2025 (dates can be discussed) for 866,5 CHF /month (charges not included).

This big and spacious room is part of a WG which you will share with one more person. The apartment consists of 3 rooms with a shared living room (with a sofa, dining table and beamer), fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a bathtub and sunny balcony which you can enjoy! A covered bicycle parking area is available, and the communal laundry room is located in the basement.

The apartment is located near Breitenrein tram line 9 or Markuskirche bus line 20 and is a 15 minute ride to the main train station, in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are several supermarkets (Migros, Coop, Alnatura) and restaurants (including Gelateria Bern!) very close to the apartment

We are looking for someone clean, respectful, and easy-going – someone who’s happy to share responsibilities around the flat and enjoys a friendly, relaxed living environment.

I am Pearl, a PhD student in Social Anthropology and I come from India. I have been living in Bern since 2023, before that I lived in Paris. I will be going for fieldwork to India for my work which is why my room is available for a sublet.
Lise, my roommate is from France, and is an intern at Uni Bern.
