Rent a room in a shared flat in Zurich

Wir sind Rahel (33), Psychologiestudentin und Floristin, Gülsah (29), Pflegestudentin, Hanna (28), Informatikerin und Smoit (3), Katze. In wechselnden Konstellationen wohnen wir seit 4 Jahren in diesem Haus und durften es gemeinsam mit tollen Personen zu einem Zuhause machen. Nun wird ein Zimmer frei und wir sind auf der Suche nach einer neuen Person, die zwischen 25 und 35 Jahren alt ist.

Wir schreiben ein Zimmer in unserem Haus mit 4,5 Zimmern und Garten ab 1. April aus, ein Mietbeginn ab 1. März wäre auch möglich. Das Haus liegt wenige Gehminuten von der Tramstation Tüffenwies entfernt, mit der Tram bist du in 15 Minuten am HB. Die Limmat und Werdinsel befinden sich ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der 5-Jahres-Mietvertrag läuft zwar im Sommer 2027 aus, es gäbe aber die Möglichkeit, diesen zu verlängern oder vielleicht auch zu übernehmen. Das ist Stand heute aber noch nicht entschieden und hängt auch von der nächsten Person ab, die einzieht.

Uns ist wichtig, dass wir uns in der Wohnung alle wirklich zuhause fühlen und respektvoll miteinander umgehen. Wir wünschen uns daher eine Person, die ein freundschaftliches Miteinander genauso schätzt und Verantwortung für die Gemeinschaft übernimmt, denn wir sind keine Zweck-WG. Wir haben einen geteilten Ämtliplan und kochen regelmässig für einander. Uns ist ein harmonisches Miteinander wichtig, in dem sich alle wohlfühlen, offen miteinander kommuniziert wird und man sich aufeinander verlassen kann. Ebenso legen wir Wert auf eine queerfreundliche Grundeinstellung.

Die Einrichtung im Wohnzimmer, im Bad und in der Küche ist wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, wir sind aber offen für neue Ideen. Das zu vermietete Zimmer ist unmöbliert und hat eine eigene Dusche im Keller.

We are Rahel (33), a psychology student and florist, Gülsah (29), a nursing student, Hanna (28), a computer scientist, and Smoit (3), our cat. In changing constellations, we’ve been living in this house for the past four years and, together with some wonderful people, have made it into a real home. Now one room is becoming available, and we’re looking for a new person between 25 and 35 years old.

We’re offering a room in our 4.5-room house with a garden, available from April 1st (moving in from March 1st would also be possible). The house is just a few minutes’ walk from the Tüffenwies tram stop, and the tram takes you to Zurich main station (HB) in about 15 minutes. The Limmat river and Werdinsel are also very close by. The current 5-year lease runs until summer 2027, but there is the possibility of extending it or even taking it over. However, this hasn’t been decided yet and will also depend on the next person who moves in.

What’s important to us is that everyone truly feels at home and treats each other with respect. We’re therefore looking for someone who values a friendly, communal way of living and is willing to take responsibility for shared life—we’re not a purely functional flatshare. We have a shared chore schedule and regularly cook for one another. A harmonious atmosphere is important to us, where everyone feels comfortable, communicates openly, and can rely on each other. We also place great value on a queer-friendly mindset.

The furnishings in the living room, bathroom, and kitchen are as shown in the photos, but we’re open to new ideas. The room for rent is unfurnished and comes with its own private shower in the basement.
