Rent a room in a shared flat in Zurich

Hi, as I'm going on extended travels, I'm looking for someone to rent my (furnished) room in a two-person WG for January and February 2026.

The flat is located on Brauerstrasse in district 4, one block away from Bäckeranlage park and the bus and tram stop of the same name, and three blocks away from Langstrasse (far enough away that no noise from there is heard). This means that two Sunday-open grocery stores are about 5 minutes by foot away from the flat.

The flat has two bedrooms, a hall, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Belonging to the flat is also an attic storage unit, and it shares a rooftop terrace and a courtyard with the rest of the building.

You'll be sharing the flat with Peter from canton Zurich, who works in strategy consulting (and is actually really nice, I promise!). If you're chill, considerate and tidy, I'm sure you'll get along splendidly.

To be aware of before viewing:
- The building has one shared washing machine and one shared tumble dryer in the basement, although some of the flats have their own washing machine. This flat however does not.
- The flat has no dishwasher.
- The building has no elevator, and the flat is three floors above the ground floor.
- The flat has no balcony (although the building has a rooftop terrace and a tiny courtyard).
- As the flat is near Langstrasse, there are some weird people around (but also a lot of students and young professionals).
- The flat has some visible wear and tear.

Please note that the photos in the ad are from March and June, so the furnishing of the flat has changed a little since then (but in what I'd describe as a positive direction, and anyway not very drastically).

The monthly rent (including nebenkosten) is 1021 fr (1027.5 for January and 1014.5 for February, due to a rent reduction). I'd expect you to pay the total 2042 fr rent for both months up front, at the latest when picking up the keys.
