Rent a room in a shared flat in Zürich

The flat is close to Schwamendingerplatz where a Migros, Coop and Denner are situated and you sometimes have little markets or even a Kilbi. There is also a Lidl and an Aldi only 2-3 tram stops away. The area is well connected via the 7/9 trams (~20 min to city centre) and is close to the forest and the Überlandpark, both perfect for a stroll or jog.

The two rooms that are freeing up are ~11 sqm and 700.- rent and ~12 sqm and 725.- rent respectively, all charges included. The 11 sqm room comes with furniture, the 12 sqm one not. The second room can be identified on the picture by the rubber chicken sitting on the windowsill.

Your roommates will be Kaya (30) and Eric (25). Kaya is working in crime prevention, currently at JuWe. She's super social and always down to go to a cultural event or share some fun experiences the day after. She is the music enthusiast of the flat and loves to discover underground community spaces. Eric is finishing his master’s degree in physics, a subject he’s quite passionate about. He often goes bouldering and loves cooking tasty meals.
They’re both very open and welcoming, enjoy a good conversation about life or even just how the day has been and are avid gym goers.

Even though our life rhythms are not always in sync, we try to spend time together. The atmosphere in the flat is relaxed and friendly: having good conversations, doing sports, watching films or cooking are just some of the activities we do together. And if anything ever causes friction we think it’s important to talk and listen to find a solution that works for everyone.
Kaya and Eric are both german speakers but are equally comfortable with communicating in English so finding a common language and making sure no one feels excluded is no issue! :)

We also have a little garden where we like to have conversations sometimes.
We have 2 bathrooms: A big one with a shower, bathtub and a toilet, and one with just a shower and toilet.

We respect each other personal spaces and understand that everyone has a different rhythm and varying social energy, so if you need time to yourself that will not be an issue. Why don’t you drop a little message about yourself if you’re interested? :)
