The flat:
The 110 m2 apartment has a kitchen, a living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a storage/wardrobe room, big balcony and a basement storage room. It is located on the 6th floor and therefore has plenty of morning and evening sun. We have a big terrace and space for our gardening (in summer we grow herbs, tomatoes, sunflowers and much more). Our large living room can easily turn into a cinema where we can watch movies with our projector on our huge couch. The couch warmly welcomes your future guests. The apartment is very well equipped: we have our own washing machine, tumbler, dishwasher, and a powerful Dyson.

The room:
Your room is 15.8 m2, bright, and has a stunning lake view. The room will be available starting from 01.02.2026 - 01.04.2026 depending on your timeline.

The location:
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by nature, has a beloved mountain view and is well connected to public transport.
The main connections are:

• bus 61 and 37 (stops right in front of the apartment) to Oerlikon (10 – 15 min)
• bus 32 (6 min by foot) to Bucheggplatz and Limmatplatz (15 – 20 min)
• Affoltern train station (10 min by foot or 3 min by bus 61) to Zurich Main station (14 min).

As it is the most flexible and fastest option, we prefer to bike to the city center/ office (~25 min). Grocery shopping is very convenient, as there is a Coop supermarket in front of our building and a Lidl, Aldi or Migros in walking distance. The wonderful lake Katzensee is 5 min away; there you can go for jogging in the nature, swim or have a BBQ and drinks.

Who we are:
Andreas (28) is a mechanical engineer in the field of power plants. He likes activities high up the beautiful Swiss mountains - such as climbing, mountaineering, hiking or skiing.
Rosa (30) has a background in Chemistry & Food Science and will start working as a consultant in 2026. She likes ballroom dancing, jogging, doing pull-up challenges in our apartment, board games nights or crafting of decoration for the apartment.
We speak both German and English fluently and a bit of French.

About you:
We search for a mature and funny person (female or male) who wants to tackle the WG project with us.
There’s a nice friendship in the flat, even if we don´t hang out daily. Everyone spends a lot of time on their own for hobbies, work or projects. So it’s important that you’re happy being independent as well but also love to chat and exchange about our lifes. Next to having spontaneous dinner together, we do planned activities once in a while - like a cozy barbecue evening or an evening trip to Katzensee in summer.
You should be used to a shared-flat life. We’re looking for a new flatmate who likes living in a clean space, actively helps maintain it, and takes responsibility. Regular cleaning of shared areas is important to us, so this place is best suited for someone who’s naturally tidy. You should be a non-smoker.

Organizational stuff:
Marie will move out end of January. The furniture in the apartment's shared rooms is owned by all of us. Thus, Marie’s share shall be be taken over by you. The furniture in private room´s is owned individually. Your room is not furnished, but Marie is happy to sell her wardrobe to you if you are interested.

• Rent: 1'041 CHF/ month (incl. WiFi)
• Additional variable cost: ~30 CHF / month for electricty, serafe, & private liability insurance.
• Deposit: 2'680 CHF.

A parking space in the house can be rented additionally, if wanted (150 CHF/month).
